Born in Atlanta, GA, Dr. Daniel S. Skotzko grew up in the Catskill Mountains of New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers College and received his DDS from UNC-Chapel Hill College of Dentistry in 1995. Following dental school, Dr. Skotzko completed a general practice residency at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Skotzko is very active in the community and is a member of the Lake Norman Jaycees, Davidson Lions Club, Iredell County Dental Society, and the March of Dimes. Dr. Skotzko uses his dental skills for charitable giving each year as he participates in pro bono treatment of underprivileged Belarusian children.

In his free time, Dr. Skotzko enjoys soccer, hiking, camping, roller blading, hang gliding and scuba diving.
